Increased spending on education over many decades hasn’t helped. If parents aren’t involved and lousy teachers can’t be fired because unions protect them, throwing more money at education won’t help. Just a huge waste.

"to prevent, prepare for, and respond to, coronavirus" The bill requires this condition to be what the grants are spent for, so there is absolutely zero argument to be made that this is "taking advantage" of anything. Taking advantage = rewarding airlines for stock buybacks.

I am more concerned with Congress giving themselves a $57,000 per yr raise. Especially since the Dems in this Congress have done nothing.
