This resolution offers no criticism of the president. It does articulate our very robust basis for self-defense and our non-delegable duty as members of congress to speak to matters of war and peace.

Checks n balances. In a conflict or if something happens that requires immediate action. Our commander n chief. Who relies on his joint chief of staff. Do what needs to be done. Now congress has to talk about it. And vote in it. To late. Our soldiers die

Somehow we need to stop the leaking of information. If Trump had briefed congress on the strike the Iranian general would have known from a score of leakers he was a target and would have eluded he strike.
