I appreciate your sentiment here but what is happening to our republic is far more important than any one person.

Exactly what I was thinking. It'll been nice to at least give 2 seconds of silence then continued with the proceedings. 2 seconds = 2 cents that he actually gave to his constituents.

The owner of my local convenience store passed away recently and life didn't stop. What makes this life long dependent of taxpayers worth more than anyone else? RIP but it shouldn't stop the business of the American people.
