You really must think nothing of your followers if you think they all buy into the idea that an entire impeachment can be conducted in secrecy. This is analogous to a grand jury hearing at this point. Of course THIS PART is not open to the public.
Democrat impeachment strategy:
Have limited public view of the evidence
Do everything in secret in the basement of the Capitol
Only have a handful of members participate in hearings
Selectively leak information to try and reshape how people view @realDonaldTrump

Dems are not interested in impeachment per se- they are interested is shaping public opinion prior to 2020 elections! They have chosen their inquiry to be a violation of basic rights in a democratic society- they have the verdict already-just trying to find facts to support it!
