As a reminder for any that are not aware, the border issue absolutely needs attention but the border crisis was a political strategy created by Roger Stone & others. The idea of taking this topic then sensationalizing it as a platform would appeal to a % of the public. It worked.
Borders show where good ideas begin and where bad ideas end. We need a strong border so people who come into the United States recognize that our nation is different from anything in all of human history and worthy of our protection. #BuildTheWall

Matt, a Wall is only part of the solution, and, it is the most polarizing. It is necessary, but, we need a strong guest worker plan, we need to address visa over stays. We need a faster path to citizenship for people that do it right. The wall is only one, albeit necessary, part.

Well said. As the running faucet and bucket analogy was used in congressional hearings. We are out of buckets and must turn off the faucet before we deal with the water on deck. Change the incentive laws. Reduce flow. Wall. Stop flow. Then amnesty type compromise for those here.
