.@POTUS is not someone who wants to maintain a foreign presence that is outsized for the United States of America. I think he wants to see more of America's moms & dads at home, & less of our treasure being spilled decade after decade in the Middle East w/ little to show for it.

Perfectly said. I’m career retired military, heavily involved w/wounded warriors. The cost in lives (killed + wounded) not worth extended presence in region which will always be at war.

i.e. Pull out responsibly. Trump has no clue how or why. He never reads intelligence reports. He argues with experts who have decades of experience thinking his gut is smarter than their first hand experience and knowledge. We have a mentally ill person put in charge.
