Thank you Rep. Gaetz this is so true. I work in Silicon Valley. Recently I interviewed for a company that had 15 employees, 11 on a work visa. Every single one of the jobs was one local engineers could do, and there are many here looking for work. It is a common abuse.

Companies here also hire overseas engineering firms because they are cheaper. Then they tell their local teams to participate in 2 hours/day of phone and video conferencing on their own time. Basically stealing 2 hours a day from their local employees, 1.2 days stolen per week.
