Driving a car is a perfectly lawful act. Driving a car into a crowd of people is not. Similarly, a president firing an ambassador is fine. A president firing an ambassador because she was an obstacle to his extortion scheme is not.

Representative Swallell knows full well that a President needs to have ambassadors in place that support the President’s policies. To claim that the President must keep in place an ambassador that does not support his policies ...that is Congressman Swallell abusing his power.

You say policy. The constitution says extortion.

Depends what they were removed for. Trump’s reason = extortion. Not only was the ambassador removed, she was also ridiculed and demeaned with cruel lies from trump and his thugs.
-
Aaand she was told that if she tweeted nice things about Trump the whole thing would go away. It would be highly inappropriate for a US Ambassador to do such a thing.
