I grew up in Michigan, and admired Conyers because he was always one of the only -- or the only -- person in Congress who opposed the succession of middle east wars. He was almost always alone in this, usually mocked, but always courageous.
While he was a good man; 52 years as a congressman is WAY too long. #weneedtermlimits
