Introduce or sponsor a bill that makes the occurrence of a shutdown an impossibility. Make it so the last budget passed stays in force until a new one replaces it. Keep the government funded and operating, no matter what. We should never have to go through this again.
Reopening the government means our federal workers can pay their bills, feed their families and know their work and worth are appreciated as they deliver much needed services. Let’s keep it that way.

1 vote for paying contractors for the work they would have been expected to do during the shutdown. No reason their families should have to suffer for this charade. Legislate it, please. Thank you. (I am not a contractor.)

He proudly took credit for shutting down the govt but blames the dems for it, using bully tactics to advance his own agenda. Need new legislation to address this total abuse of power. Let's not forget how calculating he is - this is a diversion...pay attention.
