This week, @FSCDems passed my bill with @RepGregoryMeeks, H.R. 1277, the Improving Corporate Governance Through Diversity Act of 2021. A study I commissioned shows that if we don’t act proactively, women won’t reach parity on corporate boards until at least 2056!

They seem to have left off Lisa Su. She's the CEO of AMD and made $58m+ last year. She should be fifth on this list.

        That’s 2019. She “only” made 27M in 2020.

Surely you jest. Fortune 500 companies pull in women CEOs the way that online entertainment pulls in a queer narrative or character: as a desperate, last chance to pull up ratings.

Not just fortune 500s, my neighbor “owns” a relatively small roofing company however he goes through some loopholes to make his co-worker’s wife the “owner” so that he can claim it’s a Hispanic woman-owned business

The real question is “how much value did they add in order to get that salary?” The tax question is a bit of a side-show. If we taxed the mafia at 80% it wouldn’t make their activities valuable.
