Rep. Doug LaMalfa Retweeted Western Caucus

Responsibly managing our forests is a critical component of improving the health of both the forests themselves and the wildlife that inhabit them, as well as helping to protect nearby communities from catastrophic wildfires like the #CarrFire and #CampFire.https://twitter.com/WestCaucusFound/status/1171091035126149120 …

What are you doing to fund public land management agencies adequately?

And yet...you have completely ignored the largest wildfire in the state that’s burning in two counties in your district, choosing instead to highlight CalFIRE fires in the larger counties. USFS firefighters deserve support, too, as do the local departments responding.

I know, send crews out off fire season and do burn projects on plots and thin fuel reductions so they keep them employed at the same time train them on how to better manage a wildfire in different topo and tools such as a drip torch. Hmmm anyone agree? Instead of unemployment?

On the Mt. Jamerson a beetle was killing all the fir trees. I hauled old-growth fir and cedar down the mountain. Men who call them sportsman shot up the forest killed every living thing that moved including birds poaching deer by mill workers. Stop the violence. Vets are ill
