This fire played a role in making 2018 an especially devastating year for wildfires in NorCal, & every ounce of federal support is welcomed.
This pic was after Doug had utterly forgotten about the Carr Fire and was giddy about viewing the destruction of Pleasure. I’m pretty sure the $ came through because state of CA wrote a grant requesting it, probably having to add matching funds from the road repair tax.
