I understand the VA often has problems recruiting qualified physicians, and I'm working with VA personnel to craft legislation that can help with the hiring process and alleviate some of those concerns.

My son a Disabled-Veteran -- has told me horror stories about the other VA Hospital... (the guys know) But MATHER VA Hospital has been great to him... Saved his life and actively supports his care... Maybe it REDDING's issue.... not all VA hospitals are bad.

Feel free to contact me re:Rdg VA . 100%disabled vet here. Ive been given 4 different primary care dr in less than a year. Its been 16+ months ive had to wait for an mri ordered by a dr. At Travis AFB DGMC. ridiculous

The President you support has failed in this area, despite his claims that he is treating vets and the military well, including citing non-existent raises, etc. You could speak up about this. You could get other Republicans on board to legislate; status quo unacceptable.

If you went there, you would have learned Redding VA has only 1 medication provider for Mental Health (a pharmacology Dr., 0 Psychiatrists). Clark and Seeger just retired and 2 replacements been expected for a few months...but until then, north state Mental Health for Vets at 1.

@votevets redding VA extremely understaffed in the mental health section. Is this a trend at most VA Clinics in US? I heard a number of 49k vacancies in all of VA, unsure if it accurate. Thank you for your time.
