So huge companies will make money off of public lands. And what will they be doing in return to expand & improve public lands? What if we just let the public agencies already managing the land generate the power and sell it without gouging it for profits?

IOW let them do what they want. Better men than you (& there is a substantial amount) set aside & set up protections of these lands for a reason, to preserve them future generations. You & yours want to use & abuse them now for a quick $$$. You are the worst.
