Hey @RepLaMalfa maybe we could reverse the #GOPTAXSCAM and have $2 Trillion for the #GreenNewDeal. Then we could start looking at the $686,000 in federal subsidies it takes for each oil and gas job produced. Then we could stop spending $785 billion a year on military. Ok?
The #GreenNewDeal is so far out of touch with reality, it cannot possibly be taken seriously. The costs associated with this plan would be completely unreachable. This isn’t a serious attempt at creating policy or solving problems.

What is out of touch is propping up the fossil fuel industry when we could be leading the global charge for clean energy. As for the costs, increase the marginal tax rates...they were once at 90% ya know. Stop coddling corporations and start thinking of your constituents.
