The #CampFire is the deadliest wildfire in CA history. If we want to prevent catastrophic fires like this one from happening again, common-sense forest management must be a top priority. Great—remove dead trees & dead brush, but leave healthy stands of trees alone! You are ignoring high winds & drought in populated areas that cause favorable conditions & instead you are touting logging industry talking points.https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/nov/12/california-fires-latest-what-is-happening-climate-change-trump-response-explained …

They make sound so easy to prevent the fires. 50mph moving fire is insane. Even witnessing the fire its hard to believe. People will not understand until they witness it themselves.

Common sense doesn't really seem to be your thing. Especially when your "common sense" plan leaves things like, let's say...science out of the equation. Your recycled idea honestly might PART of the solution, but it's pretty clear you have a slanted agenda. Nice try though buddy!

Nope. Forest management is one thing. Deregulation to sell out public forests to the timber industry is something else. Time to take global warming seriously.https://mobile.twitter.com/RepLaMalfa/status/1062720649460899840 …

This fire was started by PG&E and the wind is the reason it was so devastating..not sure how forest management could stop human errors and the weather....this wasn’t a normal forest fire so it shouldn’t be your example.

Republicans have owned the House and the Senate for almost 10 years now and for the past 2 years they have had a Republican President. Why haven't these, so called, "common sense" forestry management plans been implemented? U talk the talk but u don't walk the walk, Doug!
