The state's plan is yet another water grab that defies basic common sense and prioritizes protecting fish over people. I'm pleased this amendment to the Department of Interior Appropriations Act was passed by the House.

As long as we have farmers who have 50% irrigation efficiency, we don’t need to build another dam. Lean on those farmers/water district to beef up their efficiency. They’re out there & you know it. Dams are old technology & amount to water grab of excess water that can be sold.
