Today, I sent a letter to President Trump arguing against a pardon/commutation for former Gov. Blagojevich. As a former Assistant US Attorney with the Department of Justice, I led the letter with the support of every Illinois Republican member of Congress:https://goo.gl/fkJGrj

Great. What about their policy removing children from immigrants? What about denying asylum for domestic abuse victims? Where is your compassion? Fight for something important!

While you’re sending letters to the president, mention trade with our allies. The farmers in the 18th district would appreciate it.

Why did you only ask Republicans to sign the letter? Ask your father how to cross the aisle and talk to Dems as well.

I’m guessing his father doesn’t have much to say to him at this point. For Ray’s sake, I do hope he has other children who actually developed moral values.

Ray was actually at an event where Rodriguez was speaking. Coincidence?

Says a lot that he’d rather be seen with his son’s opponent than him 😏

The only problem I have with this is that you are obviously using it politically. This letter could have been bipartisan and included the Democrat House members. After all, it was a Democrat Illinois Legislature which impeached Blagojevich.

That might be the first decent thing you’ve done since you been in office.

Let me help you out - this is the ONLY decent moral thing he’s done while in office. And I’m guessing even this is him doing what he’s told by party superiors.

Your time would be better spent doing something to end the abhorrent Trump Policy separating children from their parents at the border! As you proclaim to be a good catholic, I’m astonished that you’ve remained silent ! #DoSomething

As a former Assistant US Attorney with the Department of Justice, I commend you and those who joined you in taking this position to oppose either a pardon of the conviction or commutation of sentence for former Gov. Blagojevich. Thank You for your service to 18th District.
