We can all disagree on the process, and argue merits. But never should we use terms like “lynching” here. The painful scourge in our history has no comparison to politics, and should retract this immediately. May God help us to return to a better way.

So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here - a lynching. But we will WIN!
Thank you Representative Kinzinger! Although I don't always agree with your political views, I have great respect for your courage and service!

This president has admitted he's a White Nationalist, this just confirms what we know. The President of the United States is undignified, unhinged, and unqualified to hold his office. If you respect and love this country you know in good conscience this man should be removed!

This is on you and your party for keeping him in power. You’re allowing this to happen. And it’s just gonna get worse. So maybe you could do your job and say something that actually matters besides asking for a retraction. Why are you even in Congress? Maybe you should resign.

Thank you for this. We need more Republican voices like yours to stand up for what is right. May the rest of your party, follow your lead. It’s doesn’t require bravery, although, this is brave. It requires honesty. It requires putting what is right ahead of what is convenient.

I disagree, our country's past should never be hidden from plain sight. This post just like the statues, flags, and words should stay in the public eye. By denying and hiding these things, we dilute the atrocities and dishonor those that suffered the most by them.
