What happened earlier today in Santa Fe, TX was a horrific tragedy. Brooke and I are praying for the victims and hurting for the parents who have lost their children.

I will continue to work with Americans on both sides of the gun safety debate as we work to come up additional common sense reforms that help get at the root of the problems we face.

Wanting stronger and enhanced gun restrictions isn’t politicizing the debate and creating divisions. But your words speak for themselves, and as a constituent, I continue to be disappointed in your lack of leadership on guns.

@RepKevinYoder has always been a fence sitter. All the way back to his days at KU. Too scared and privileged to take a side of his own for once. Placate, placate, placate.

Accepting NRA money, sponsoring gun silencer legislation, and voting for concealed carry reciprocity is "politicizing" - and enabling - these tragedies. Take a long, hard look in the mirror. Your statements today are too little, too late.
#OverYoder -
This shooting had nothing to do with suppressors or concealed carry reciprocity. Where do you get this nonsense?
-
.This "nonsense" is part of your ammosexual culture of death, buddy. The reciprocity rights you all demand simply allows states with NO gun safety training to claim their CC licenses are the same as states with strict licensing requirements. And, only a criminal needs a silencer.
-
Guns have been a part of our culture since before we were even a nation. They represent freedom and liberty, providing people a means of self defense.

We could talk about it at an open to the public town hall, Kev. Ya know, since you haven't had one in 745 days...
-
Kevin doesn't do townhalls, he's GOP. Might have to answer someone's question.
-
He's a coward.
#ks03 deserves better. -
Probably true, he certainly has no integrity, or class. He's bought and paid for GOP. All that money he shills for still can't buy him either. I guess the worst part is he just doesn't care. Look at the rest of his party...

Political tip — don’t tell upset & angry citizens to not politicize mass school shootings. Especially if you want to stay in office.

You’re not getting it done... don’t switch it on people “politicizing“ this. I also think this is the first time I’ve seen you mention the CDC involvement— I’ve only seen
@sharicedavids talk about that.

No. Just no. These tragedies ARE inherently political, because they are the result of a failure of public policy. They are the direct result of YOUR lack of leadership, sir. Again, please point to the solutions you have created in the last eight years. *crickets*

There was a shooting at your church this week. Close enough to home for you yet?

Perpetually delaying action because it's "too soon" IS politicizing it. All who agree this empty suit should get voted out of his seat should check out @momsdemandks to see the growing numbers that want the same.
