This morning I stopped by the RareKC Townhall Event to talk to constituents about rare diseases. KC is a leader in this fight to find a cure & organizations like @RareKC. research institutions like KU Med and Children's Mercy, &others are working to make headway in those effortspic.twitter.com/WwoxkofYRz

It's really odd how you keep stopping by 'town halls' yet you won't do an open one. Quit pretending that you aren't a coward scared to face the people you claim to represent, Kev.

You know what's bad for people with rare diseases? Taking away their pre-existing condition rate protections, blowing up the individual mandate and paving the way for reinstatement of lifetime benefit limits. You did that.

I am sure both KU and CMH would appreciate it if you would stop voting to take health insurance and Medicaid away from their patients with rare diseases so they can afford to continue treatment.

Stop calling others' events town halls. They are not town halls. They are not YOUR events. @RareKC should ask you to take down this tweet. Host your own TOWN HALL. Invite us out, please.

Had to read twice... I thought you were actually going to do a "rare" town hall for all of your constituents. We're still waiting. #DoYourJob

It would be nice if you would show the courage to have a town hall meeting IN PERSON with your constituents, including those who disagree with you and your policies, not just your supporters. I realize that's a lot to ask given the record of your party.

I imagine some of the healthcare for those diseases is pretty costly. Do you have any interest in making sure people have access to affordable care? Yeah, I figured the answer is no.

Funny Kev, I didn’t receive any notice of this “town hall” in advance. Oh.. that’s right, you actually don’t do those. District 3 deserves better!

30,000+ dead in the US every year from gun violence, with precisely zero action by you. A laughable attempt to feign concern about the health and welfare of Americans.
