You voted without a CBO score - you have no idea what this will cost or how many people it will hurt.

Gee whiz, only a year of unaffordable premiums? The fact that you see this as a good thing is very telling.

When the premium jumps to $142,000 it doesn't matter if its only for one year!!!

Premiums don't = coverage! You know this! With the waiver for pre-ex cond and no essential health benefits your paid premium is useless!

And by the way, are you just reading the text of the bill now?? Is that why you have so much to tweet TODAY? What happened YESTERDAY?
-
Would have been great to have this discussion BEFORE you decided to stick it to your constituents.

How generous of you, a whole 12 months of a screwing and then back to more screwing. Brought to you by the Orange buffon and his minions.
-
Just enough time for people to file bankruptcy.
-
Except there's really no bankruptcy relief for "little people" anymore-you have to commit multi-million fraud like Trump to escape repayment

States can waive essential health benefits and you can end up with insurance that covers nothing you need.

Unless those increased premiums price you out of the market. Then you just never get insurance.
-
30% of the premiums that were estimated by the CBO on your last bill is quite a chunk of change

That's actually more prohibitively expensive than the penalty. It basically ensures that if you have a gap you'll never get insurance again
-
Right. And if you lose your job & lapse coverage? You're doubly fucked.
-
Exactly. You would never have enough money to pay for insurance during that year
-
Under ACA if this happens, you apply for free healthcare. But with states being able to opt out/block grant limit AHCA is a nightmare.
-
True. And you have to get insurance for a year with the price being exorbitant before you can get back to a reasonable price

Stop trying to sell us on this abomination of a bill via a one-sided tweet. Why don't you just come home & face us via a town hall?

Stop digging the hole. Should have talked to us before you voted. How many calls did you get against it? For it? You are bad at this.
