You'd think they would have seen how poorly that has worked out in IT. Our IT systems are less safe and hacked constantly because they've let so many American IT workers go and hired cheap foreign labor. You get what you pay for

I know. I worked in IT > 35 years, and finally quit because I was tired of having to not only answer all of their stupid questions every day at every hour of the day, but also having to clean up all the idiotic mistakes they made! They couldn't even follow clear, written instr.

I’m *really* not comfortable with reducing the regulatory burden on chemical manufacturers. Ask Bhopal or West, Texas how that worked out for them.

YAY! CLEAN WATER IS FOR PUSSIES! MORE CHEMICALS IN MY AIR AND WATER! LESS REGULATION! WOOT!

Yeah, we shouldn't have any regulations on chemical plants! The worst they can do is kill people or give them cancer. Don't need to worry if they are dead AND Rep Yoder wants preexisting conditions cancelled from policies so he's covered both.
-
Why regulate them? Let them trash the environment, poison the land, dump their sludge in the rivers, and they can make huge profits. The taxpayers will pay to clean up their mess later, when they close down. That's how it worked in the past...that's why we have regulations now.
-
You're just trying to get Rep Yoder excited! The only thing he likes better is baby prisons at $700 per baby per night.

Did you discuss the cost to the community of reducing those “burdensome” regulations? Certainly our laws could stand to be streamlined, but make no mistake: regulating chemical plants saves lives.

Thanks for making sure these guys can kill our kids and animals, and the worst part about how you kill people. Is that you kill them slowly with cancer causing chemicals. Nice
