Rep Yoder I admire your leadership and authenticity. Your support fr Sunaya Dumala is praise worthy and support for Indians stuck in Greencard backlog too.I’m so disappointed that @USCIS plans to revoke H1b spouse’s work permit despite knowing that it affects women in the backlog

My husband n I came to the U.S 8 yrs ago and studied in Ivy Leagues , got hired after rigorous interviews n use our salaries to pay off our hefty student loans. This was a big reason to stay back in the U.S.
-
earlier i couldn’t be on student OPT and then H1b due to maternity. H4EAD helped n it’s no joke to gt H1b in the lottery. Pls crackdown on H1b fraud but don’t punish the genuinely skilled and their families like mine.
-
I sometimes regret investing my time and loan in the U.s. Me and my husband should have taken our smarts to some other country where the skilled and talented are valued and treated fairly. Career couples don’t have to suffer like we do in the U.S.
#SaveH4EAD -
Its not about career couples its about fairness for all. Not just the rich. If everyone had ivy league college, who would clean your house, mow your yars, wait on you in restaurant.
-
What is it that you are trying to say ? The right to work for married Indian women is about to be taken away while they wait for 20-70 yrs fr getting their greencards. This is unfair n against women’s rights.I had shared my story n my degree( PLUS the student loan)is a part of it.
-
Regarding career couples, currently being an H1b spouse means u CANT work unless you get an approved GC petition. To get to that takes years for many. Once approved spouses can work but that may be revoked by USCiS. All those essentially means the H1b spouse struggles throughout
-
I have MANY women in my network who hv suffered because of this. These r women who r well educated and LEGALLY present in the U.S . It’s a shame tht spouses r treated so poorly ; their careers don’t matter n r pushed into 4 walls.Single incomes in CA r not enough to afford a house

what do you think about this 17% budget deficit?? Crazy, huh?? Who could have predicted after the exact same thing happened in Kansas.
-
#ifonly there were some people from Kansas that could somehow share the results of the#failedexperiment to some group of people in Washington D.C., some sort of policy makers, who could incorporate the results of... nevermind.

So let's now start wrecking this economy by selling out the American workers and replacing them with cheap Indian labor! How much your Indian pay-masters pay you to betray your own people?!

How about the deficit? Can you share your thoughts on that??

Yoder is in favor of it: he votes to increase it every chance he gets.

Wall Street ≠ Main Street ≠ Country Roads. The "Great American Comeback" is flying over many Kansans in the Sunflower State.
