Everyone should be able to earn a living and provide for themselves and their families, no matter who they are or who they love. Protecting people from discrimination, including people who are gay or transgender, is about treating others as we want to be treated.
As we celebrate today’s decision, we must remember we still have a long way to go to secure justice and equal rights for all. Our fight is not over until all Americans are safe from discrimination, hate and violence. Today, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we continue the work.
