Over 200,000 Oklahomans have filed for unemployment during the COVID-19 pandemic, and too many are having a hard time receiving unemployment assistance. We must act quickly to ensure Oklahomans can access the help they need and are entitled to under the stimulus bills we passed.
This week I reached out to Governor Stitt to offer assistance to implement these programs, access federal funds, and provide any necessary support to expedite the unemployment process in Oklahoma. We have to deliver relief now.pic.twitter.com/rMf9E1ScLH
My husband is still waiting for a call back from unemployment and it has been 5 weeks.
Same. Just says 'pending' with no end in sight. IF you're able to reach someone, all they do is "escalate" your call which I'm starting to believe just means they'll do nothing with your call.
My husband was approved for unemployment almost a month ago. We can not access our money because they haven't sent us a card. No answers, just hours on hold.
What about relief to “essential” workers? We were forced to continue working with reduced hours (just above 32) AND reduced wages. No help here. Those that qualify for unemployment are doing better than those risking their health!!

I have been waiting for over a month now for a card! Also, on phone for hours and days...getting me absolutely no answers! I don’t think there is a level 2! There is a mix up on my account, and no one can help?!
Congresswoman, I would like to ask if anything is being done about the state of #Oklahoma keeping people's #StimulusChecks that are supposed to be helping people make it through this crises. Sure would be nice to be able to buy groceries!
