SBA is claiming they only have to give us $1k per employee on the EIDL Loan Advance instead of the $10k written into the CARES ACT. Please do not let them get away with this. Our country is quick to give big corporations millions of dollars but the small guy can't even get $10k.
Small businesses employ half of Oklahoma's workforce. To keep them afloat, we need this Administration to deliver the assistance we passed in the CARES Act now. There is also no assistance for independent contractors who are also employed. I don’t qualify for unemployment because I’m still employed. 40% of my income comes from my side business with no employees. Thus, I don’t qualify for PPP.
