You borrow money at given terms—later you pay that money back at the agreed terms. What could be fairer than that? Forcing other people to pay it for you?

We could extend this to all kinds of things. Last year, I borrowed (and/or used my own money) on a business that went out of business (while writing over $12k in checks to various Oklahoma agencies)—all told losing about $60K. I’m not asking others to absorb my mistake though.

Fine compromises, the problem is the GOP would compromise down from these or not wanting to pass any of them even if were compromised down.
#CancelStudentDebt is the highest and correct bar, so start there, if GOP wants to negotiate(they don’t) go all in and win.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I'd just like to go back to school, without having to accept crushing debt when I turn 60.

I would like to live in a world where I'm surrounded by highly educated individuals who aren't living off ramen noodles and cans of tuna. Student loan debt is crushing our economy and destroying individuals health. The money used to pay the interest alone could boost our economy

Were they lied to when they signed the papers? If not, it was fair. What isn’t fair is agreeing to terms, using the money and then not wanting to honor it.
