These lawsuits represent the worst of the worst examples of disregard for human life—cases filed on behalf of nursing home patients and grocery store workers who died because the company in charge of keeping them safe prioritized cutting costs over protecting them. (4/5)

Our bills are piling up. Rent in arrears, food low, eviction close. The people who paid taxes need help.

I just told a landlord today that even as social services agencies (like mine) are trying like hell to get people rent money, he and others should start screaming at their legislators who refuse to help. He’s on the verge of bankruptcy bc he’s owed so much back rent. Sick.
