  I agree with you on a lot. But the mortgage deduction needs to be eliminated. Why should the middle class deduct mortgage expenses when renters have no deduction? Also, the cap is 10,000. That’s a nice deduction.t

  Thank you Ms Porter. We Californians have to put such a high % of our income into housing it does not compare to those who live in states where it might actually only compose a reasonable portion of your income. our 2k never before tax owed this yr was really hard to handle
