The fear mongering has to end. Yes everyone must practice extremely good hygiene. I pay people down, search in their bags, and interact with travelers from around the world. By practicing good hygiene I’ve managed to stay healthy.

It's airborne, is good hygiene going to stop you from breathing? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/03/16/who-considers-airborne-precautions-for-medical-staff-after-study-shows-coronavirus-can-survive-in-air.html&ved=2ahUKEwjbmc_88KToAhVLlHIEHYUgDysQ0PADegQIARAH&usg=AOvVaw09oz9RMtEffcX_GJFSFX-b&cf=1 … No amount of hand washing will prevent you from breathing it in. (You should of course wash your hands a lot and properly for 20 seconds).

Would you mind also promoting biking as it can do same as what you listed for walking AND can replace cars for most trips —> reduces CO2 emissions. It’d be great if Nassau County roads could have 1% of what Queens has fought for https://twitter.com/daniel_a_solow/status/1240305758908174336?s=21 …https://twitter.com/Daniel_A_Solow/status/1240305758908174336 …

Being outside is probably fine...but this is proven to be airborne and it can linger in the air for hours. I don't think protraying a cavalier attitude is what we need right now. This is a WAR, we need to treat it as such. Many of your constituents will lose their lives or jobs.

I think the right message is, stay home except for essentials (e.g., food, work if it's still open). It starts with walks but it is a slippery slope, then it's the beach... then you're infected or infecting others (I.e., killing people)... Stay home.
