Soleimani was a dangerous terrorist. He was behind the deaths of hundreds of Americans, thousands of innocent civilians in the Middle East, and caused violence throughout the world. We will not mourn his demise.
However, I am concerned about the lack of details surrounding this strike from the Administration. The President must work with Congress to ensure the US is prepared for any possible retaliation & to define a clear strategy for our military actions in the region.
As a constituent, please don’t send us into another war in the Middle East. No one wants to be drafted into WWIII.
I think your concern for Separation Of Powers should be your first concern. Trump's War Crimes are unacceptable. Soleimani's crimes were atrocious, as well, but do not justify us making potentially apocalyptic decisions.
