Recently, religious organizations across the U.S. and abroad have seen an alarming increase in violence. From the synagogue shootings in Poway & Pittsburgh to the mosque shooting in New Zealand, to the church burnings in Louisiana. These threats are real and tragic. 2/3

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program has also been critical to securing houses of worship in #NY04, many of which have long needed security upgrades. I'm incredibly pleased to see this bill pass with broad bipartisan support and urge the Senate to take it up quickly. 3/3
