It won’t be enough. He’ll deny it. Republicans will say it was a joke.

He shouldn’t be brought to testify to Congress “eventually.” He should be brought to testify immediately.
-
I agree but would he claim executive privilege?

It was not a joke; as Cohen testified, Trump is a mob boss and speaks in code, so his minions do his dirty work and he gets plausible deniability!

@RepKathleenRice@HouseDemocrats@RepTomSuozzi@HomelandDems it’s not escaping your voters at this point that we are keeping migrant children under bridges and while you tweet about it it seems you won’t fix it because you think it makes Trump look bad. When you have no problem -
Treating children like this to spite someone I’m not sure you’re the “good people”. Do your job because right now those migrants aren’t being treated with dignity and children are getting assaulted and you’re complicit in it for not doing a damn thing about it. Tweets don’t help

If you do, PLEASE do NOT go into that hearing with nothing but rhetoric and finger wagging. I hate this aspect of our congressional hearings. If need be, ask staff members with trial experience to help. FFS, I'd do it for free. Just be prepared with questions and follow ups.
