In 2011, the @NorthportVAMC was one of the first 3 facilities in the country to participate in the VA’s child care pilot program.
It was a total gamechanger for our veteran parents and caretakers. #ChildCare4Vets

Today, the House passed the Veterans’ Access to Child Care Act, which would make the program permanent & expand it nationwide! This bill will ensure that no veteran ever has to choose between medical treatment and child care. I look forward to seeing it signed into law soon!

In order to participate in the program, the child must first somehow survive being aborted in the 9th month.
