These are serious issues that deserve thoughtful discussions. And we can't have those discussions while the government is closed and millions of Americans are hurting. That's no way to govern.

DACA recipients, TPS holders, and federal workers are not bargaining chips. If the President is serious about addressing our border security needs and creating real immigration reform then he should sign a bill to reopen the government and then negotiate in good faith.
