        Can’t congress stop blaming Trump for immigration policy and pass laws? The T in TPS was tempoarary, yet El Salvador has been included since the 1980s. This has also allowed many MS13 members to come and go. Isn’t there danger in keeping this also?

        (2/2) I think we are experiencing what happens when there is a failure in leadership. We need policy that will consider the vast majority of immigrants that contribute positively to our society, and protect us from the vast minority that do harm.

        I’m not sure Katherine Rice knows what the “T” stands for. Through this very tweet she admits that “Temporary Protected Status” can become permanent when people are raising families. What about compassion for countless would be immigrants who are willing to abide by the process?
