Please, please make certain this is for ALL neurodegenerative dementias. Frontotemporal dementia is the #1 dementia under age 60! When given SSDI under compassionate allowance they must wait 2 YEARS for Medicare. Young families lose everything waiting for help.
Today I introduced the Younger-Onset Alzheimer’s Disease Parity Act. Too often Americans w/ younger-onset Alzheimer’s are denied access to critical services because of their age.
