I’ve seen firsthand how @HouseGOP has failed to hold ICE accountable for its actions. We have not had 1 hearing on ICE this Congress. Instead of abolishing ICE, we should focus on reforming it & increasing oversight to restore ICE's intended purpose: keeping America safe. 5/5
This is a smarter position than the ridiculous “Abolish ICE” chants. Smarter Dems will realize that “Abolish ICE” isn’t going to win elections, especially on LI.
Trump is not king, no matter how much you want him to be. He followed the law. You refuse to work across the aisle for a fix just so you can blame @GOP for the mess. I’m looking forward to voting @Benno4Congress this November.
