The number of women veterans in our country continues to rise, but still the VA’s official motto excludes women. That’s not right & I tried to fix it, but my amendment was never brought to the floor for debate, let alone a vote.

The brave women who serve our country and the families of those who gave their lives defending it deserve to be a part of an organization that recognizes their service and sacrifice. It baffles that any Member of Congress would disagree.
