The Black experience is filled with resilience. We organize, thrive & move policy in spite of opposition. As Chair of @TheBlackCaucus, I join my colleagues in celebrating #Juneteenth. After 200 years, today we reflect on our journey & focus on our path toward a brighter future.

Madame Congresswoman, the Southern Cameroons (Ambazonia) says NO to Res: 358. You don't understand the ramifications of that Resolution on the souvereign people of the Southern Cameroons. Don't let your name to be hated by the present or future generations of Ambazonians!!!

Congresswoman, Resolution 358 is an annexation charter. Southern Cameroons had its independence on 1st Oct 1961 and La Republique du Cameroun had its on 1st January 1961, 2 separate former UN trust territories with different dates of independence, no union treaty between them.

While at the same time using the past, to justify the purchase of votes via reparations, for an institution that no living black person has experienced.

If there are reparations then the DNC should foot that bill. They did not want to abolish slavery the Republicans did and they set them free!if we are going back that far they can pay for it!
