The massacre in Pittsburgh yesterday may have been the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the United States ever. 2/https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/27/us/jewish-hate-crimes-fbi/index.html …

It’s being reported that the killer was angry about Jewish support for refugees because he believed that Jews had paid for the “caravan” of immigrants approaching the border. 3/https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/pittsburgh-synagogue-shooting-suspect-threatened-jewish-groups-pushed-migrant-caravan-n925256 …

On Thursday, a white supremacist walked into a grocery store in Kentucky and murdered two African Americans, one of whom was shopping with his 12-year-old grandson for a school project. Two Black people assassinated in a grocery store? Not a major news story. 4/

@BrianStelter on CNN's@ReliableSources said this morning that Trump is leading a hate movement against the press. I’d add immigrants, African Americans, Native Americans, the LGBTQ community and women to that list. 6/Show this thread -
When leaders spew racism and peddle lies and propagate fear, they bear responsibility for contributing to a climate of hatred. 7/

White supremacists and other violent agents of hate have felt empowered for the past 22 months because the message they hear from the leader of this country is “I’m angry too. I feel your pain. I will not denounce you.” 8/

The message they also hear is “you have my permission”. There’s a lot of talk about both sides toning down the rhetoric. Let’s start with the enabler living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. 9/9

The number of hate groups in each state. Surprisingly, California hosts the largest number of hate groups, with a total of 79. Florida comes in second with 63, and then Texas. California a Democratic State. How do you respond to that?
-
That aligns with the population of the states. If you had an ounce of sense, you could figure that out on your own instead of pretending it has to do with state politics. Mental health care is lacking in all of America. I'm sure you know that very well on a personal level.
-
If I had an ounce of sense. Nice. Look these are just raw numbers. They have nothing to do with population. The point being, hate groups exist in almost all states in the US regardless of politics. Not just in one region of the country. People need to understand that.

We have an army of Trumpers! Those poor people should have been armed. It’s so sad that Dems want to take away our 2nd amendment. Thank goodness for President Trump and our new Supreme Court Justice’s, it isn’t going to happen!pic.twitter.com/x3sB7PBICv

It’s not the South darling. Tired of getting a bad name.
-
Watch wtf you call darling. Also, all populous states get a bad name & that includes the South, which I was born and raised in. Shitty people like you referring to a black female Congressal Rep as 'darling' are why the South gets it's fair share of criticism.

I’m insane for pointing out that hate groups exist across America? Not just in one region? Many snobbish people tend to view themselves and the area in which they live as more enlightened and better than others. They hate it when others point out the stains in their carpet.
