BTW, if states were to declare bankruptcy, particularly states w/huge economies that support other states every year (looking at you, Kentucky), then the entire national economy would be harmed. This is not a winning solution.
Congress must work to protect jobs & small biz, which is why I'm leading a bipartisan group of 74 Members with @RepFredUpton urging Congress to FULLY FUND the #PPP for future need. I remain STRONGLY opposed to a blank check to PPP which thus far has proven to be badly designed, poorly targeted. Without substantial relief for states, these businesses will fail no matter how much PPP $ is thrown their way. The next package must include both state & PPP funds.
