I am deeply saddened by the horrific slaughter of at least 52 Palestinian protestors and injuries to thousands more by Israeli forces. No doubt this will spark claims that Israel has a right to defend itself — and it does. But this has nothing to do with defense.

We are witnessing the use of unabated brutality and force against civilians to stifle civil unrest. America must expect and demand more from its close allies.

The disingenuousness of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s claim that the new U.S. Embassy is any part of a “pursuit of peace” is exposed by the Israeli soldiers meeting expected protesters onsite with gunfire at close range.

I remain a strong supporter of Israel and the two state solution and urge both sides, the Palestinians and Israelis, to cease the senseless violence.

So long as unrest is met with bloodshed, cries for peace ring hollow and hopes for a better future in the region will remain nothing more than a dream.

I am a liberal but also a supporter of Israel. I don't believe anyone has the capacity to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. With Hamas in power in Gaza tensions remain. They have instilled hate in the Palestinian residents that Jews are bad, Israel can not relent to survive

Hamas didn't restrict food aid, create the electricity blockade, demolish schools, salt the wells, move the embassy to Jerusalem, forcibly expel hundreds of thousands of people from their homes or prevent medical supplies from reaching those being slaughtered. "Tensions?" GTFOOH

FBOW, so-called "two=state solution" is dead. Equal rights for all within the territory of Palestine. #BDS #GreatMarchOfReturn #Nakba70

It’s time to face the unpleasant fact that the two state solution is as dead as Monty Python’s parrot. Two state only serves to support rationalization “I can support Israel because apartheid is interim policy that will go away when 2 state implemented.”

No, you really don't. Saying the words "I support Israel" and then not supporting her when she's under attack is cowardly dissembling, not support. You can be properly briefed to know the truth-I suggest you so so, before making silly virtue signals.

Palestinians have not in any way been violent. You also failed to mention @Israel' massacre of 49 ppl & over 9,000 injured over the past 6 weeks during the #GreatReturnMarch. Not one Israeli was hurt. What does this say about #ApartheidIsrael & the war criminals in Knesset/IDF?

Supporting two state non-solution is not supporting Israel rather extremely endangering her.

Palestinians have offered no violence. The #GreatReturnMarch has offered unarmed resistance in the face of deliberate and immediate violence from Israel's armed forces. Their playbook is Gandhi's. Not a single Israeli has even been wounded.
