This kind of defense is both outrageous and dangerous. It is never acceptable for a man or woman to sexually harass or abuse someone they manage.https://twitter.com/NYDailyNews/status/1051582942462525440 …

        Wasn't it a consentual relationship?

Yes, but she was a 22 year old unpaid intern and he was the president of the United States. It may have been consensual but it was absolutely inappropriate. It’s the ultimate boss/ subordinate relationship.

Every affair is inappropriate. An affair with a consenting adult you work with is not an abuse of power; it's just shabby and shameful.

Except he was her superior. The extreme difference in power should not be overlooked.

You can consent to engaging in sexual acts with a world leader without being coerced. You can also say no.

In a very literal since, he was her boss. It would be the same as the CEO of a company having an affair with an unpaid intern. People have gotten fired over that.

well no. He was impeached but he was acquitted so he wasn’t removed from office. It’s like being charged with a crime. Then you go to trial and are found not guilty.

Except Lewinski was an adult and pursued him. Yes, he should have refused but the point HRC is making — there was no abuse - just bad decisions. Now GFO.

Many would argue that because Bill was Monica's boss, that he would give in her was a form of abuse. I agree that this is the fuzzier of Bill's abuse cases.

Was he her boss? People can argue that the White House have numerous interns and they are several layers removed from the President

If you are going to imply that Lewinsky was COERCED into a sexual relationship with her boss, you would have more credibility if you offered some EVIDENCE of that allegation. Who am I kidding? Trolls never change.

it was NOT abuse or harrassment it was a consensual relationship between two consenting adults. Bill was married and it was wrong in that aspect but quit acting like Hillary should run up and hug the woman that had an affair with her husband. It is ridiculous!!

Disgusting how men continue to make Hillary pay for an affair her husband had 20 plus years ago. Your attack on Hillary is outrageous and dangerous, especially when the party is trying to unite for a mid-term.. Shame on you!
