Aren't you embarrassed, as a lawmaker, proposing to stand basic legal principles like the presumption of innocence on their head just to get what you want? If you were accused of something, I bet you would want the presumption of innocence.

It’s not that we automatically say the accuser is lying we simply say ok these are strong allegations but we assume you have something credible to back it up and show us. Not just your word. That’s why hearsay isn’t trustworthy.

His word versus her word, there needs to be proof some type of evidence that this occurred. If their was no need for proof I could say I saw you commit murder no body no DNA no evidence I don’t remember the date or the place but you did it. See my point. You need proof.
