Generally when someone says “on behalf of” they mean to help. But I have my doubts that you’re actually voting to help us. How about getting behind legislation to help people like me. I’m 100% freelance in the event industry and have no work right now, and no benefits available.

Somehow, this announcement does not encourage me. In fact, my initial impression was ‘meh’ .... so far Congressman - your performance isn’t that impressive.

How are you planning to vote? Did I miss an opportunity to let you know how I think about the bill? Somehow, even following you on all platforms, I seldom see any statements from you. I’ve never known such a quiet attorney. Keep the seat warm but make way for a replacement.

Please don't forget your non profits... I know domestic and family violence, mental health, prisoner re entry programming, and addiction services aren't as important as the Kennedy Center.... but--
