Please, put your legislation where your prayers are. I am one of your constituents in the TN6 along with my wife & young children. I believe in the 2nd A, but we need action, now. Ban assault weapons & high capacity mags. Expand background checks. etc. What is your plan, sir?
We continue to mourn the loss of precious lives in El Paso, TX, & Dayton, OH. Senseless tragedies of this kind are incredibly heartbreaking & the cowards who commit these crimes must be brought to justice. My prayers are with the victims & first responders in these communities.

What is an "assault wespon"? Are referring to a semi automatic rifle? What capacity should magazines be capped at? Expand background checks to include what else exactly? What policies and procedures would you recommend?
