The second failed vote in the Senate on a coronavirus relief package is more proof that Speaker Pelosi & Senator Schumer put politics before the American people. This legislation is needed now to help millions of families & small businesses impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
It is shameful that Democrats in Congress are attempting to inject the politics of the radical Green New Deal - which have nothing to do with keeping the doors open for Main Street businesses or keeping American families working - into this aid package.
Again, the American people are counting on us to get this done. It is well past time for Democrats to return to the table, make a sensible agreement, and put the interests of the American people first.
You think the way to help the families is to give $ to banks and big corps (we all know how much you like Big Pharma.) But it's not proof that Pelosi is putting politics before people -- when the Dem bill gets out of the House, McConnell will HAVE to bring it up for a vote.
